Over the years, Francesco has built up a spectacular variety of food and drink options. The pizzas are enormous and range from the classic Margherita to specialities such as seafood pizza. The pasta dishes are equally generous and can be served with a wealth of different sauces. There are two kinds of fresh fish from the market every day, and many great options for meat eaters, including the rich and comforting pollo da Beni – breast of chicken with tomato, garlic, cream, parsley, basil, ham, and a choice of two cheeses. As a lighter bite or start, don’t miss the popular Don Beni Mushrooms served with Garlic and Bechamel sauce, and a crispy cheese topping.

The wine list offers a genealogical tour of Italy with wines from Piemonte, Tuscany, Sicily and many more. There are also vintages from Spain, France and Argentina, and a lovely New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Bottled lagers are available while classic cocktails such as Tequila Sunrise and Pina Colada add to the buzzing holiday atmosphere. They’re also available in alcohol free versions, so you can get that holiday feeling even if you have to drive. There is certainly plenty to visit near each of the three venues. The Eton restaurant is ideally situated for a visit to the famous college or to Windsor Castle, a day trip to Legoland or a stoll along the banks of the Thames. Crowthorne is home to the Grand Wellington College and close to Wellington Country Park, while the Winkfield Row restaurant is just down the road from the Royal Berkshire Polo Club and has served as a meeting point for the party of the winning team.
